On Monday, I visited your store and selected several items to purchase. When I initially asked to use the fitting rooms, an employee informed me that they were closed and unavailable. However, another employee later allowed me to use one after I explained that the store does not accept returns and that I needed to try on the clothing before purchasing it. While I was changing inside the fitting room, an employee attempted to open the door despite being aware that it was occupied. After I asked her to give me a moment, she turned off all the lights in the fitting room area and refused to turn them back on. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable, embarrassed, and violated. When I asked to speak with a manager, the employee falsely claimed that she was the manager, even though another staff member was in the process of contacting the actual supervisor. She later stated that she did not know anyone was inside the fitting room, which is untrue because I had already informed her that I was changing and asked for privacy. No customer should have to worry about an employee attempting to enter a fitting room while they are undressed. This was a serious invasion of privacy and an unacceptable level of unprofessional conduct. Although I liked the merchandise, the treatment I received was disrespectful and completely inconsistent with basic standards of customer service. I respectfully request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to ensure that no other customer experiences the same violation of privacy and dignity . “The employee involved was a Black woman with braided hair and an average build. She had a noticeable mark or indentation above her upper lip. I am providing this description solely to help identify the individual involved in the incident.”
