Food was subpar. Although the service is alright, I did not enjoy the food. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is not the place, sadly.

Elena's great food had it's begining way before Elena open her first restaurants. Elena's receipes harken to her mother's home made Mexican food, which I first enjoyed 70 years ago, and which you can treat yourself to today at Elenas. On Christmas Mrs. Saldana , Elena's mother, would cook her delicious Mexican dishes, and would graciously invite anyone who came-by to enjoy her unbelievably delectable authentic food. I'm fortunate that today I can enjoy that same great Mexican food anytime I wish.
