The place doesn’t look the best, not that it doesn’t feel clean, in fact for the type of building it is, it feels well taken care of, just feels like an old location, which can only be helped so much. The people who I assume own or at least operate the place are super friendly and attentive. I’ve only been here twice but each time it was good. Customers were a bit on the rougher side being rude to the owners and such, but given the location and the fact it’s Beaumont I expect no less from the people that come in. The food, it reminds me of a style of home cooking that isn’t extremely over the top of flavors, but isn’t offensively without flavor. It feels like someone is holding back to have a broader palette for those coming in, which is nice on the stomach which you might be having a rough day and you want more comfort than extremes. The options are about what you’d expect from a chicken place. Pretty standard stuff, but the fish? I didn’t expect fried fish, or some of the other sides like dumplings and okra. And the baked chicken had a sauce it sits in that is amazing. They have lots of ketchup, hot sauce, tartar sauce, and honey mustard. They have also have some other sauces you can buy separately which I assume is just par for Hartz buffet seeing as the one in port Arthur does the same, the fact they have a lot of other no additional charge options makes me not upset I can’t have barbecue sauce with my chicken. If I had one complaint it was just that the yeast rolls didn’t last. Though to be fair I wasn’t the only one trying to get one because they were so fluffy and delicious. All in all, it was great. Nothing bad happened yet and I hope it stays that way when I go back in the future.

This was by far the best Hartz chicken place I've eaten at.I haven't had chicken this good and fresh, let's talk about crispness yesssss loved it. I will definitely give this location a 5 very clean even outside the area was cleaned .The young man wiped down tables the whole time we were there. Young lady who took our orders was very friendly. We enjoyed the buffet chicken came right out the grease piping hot. Busy drive through seems like a popular place alot of people came in.

Good place for buffet but make sure you get as much as you can in your first plate as you will need a clean one every time and ask the cashier for it. My first one I just got very little to taste as my first time here then the second one just got a piece of bread and the chicken that I liked the most but felt i had bothered when asked for a 3rd one for dessert. Chicken strips were delicious!!!

Stopped by after work to grab the family dinner. Greeted by smiling friendly staff. Everything was fresh hot and ready to serve. Ordered the 9 piece chicken, while someone was filling that order another asked what sides. I pointed out a couple, paid and I was out the door. Fresh, hot dinner done in 3 minutes. Thank y'all! Life is hard, dinner shouldn't be. 😊
