This may say it's a "2 star" hotel/motel, but I'd say it's better than that. Don't expect a "genuine 5 star" hotel, but what it is, is perfect for the price. The inside of the room is better than I expected, the cost was outstanding, the owner/manager was awesome and friendly. Everything was clean, no bugs, A/C worked, fridge/freezer worked, and I swear I think the floors in my bathroom were heated (maybe it was just the fact that I was on a bottom room). The internet was a bit finicky, but that was no big deal for me, and I'm sure that if I mentioned it to the owner, he'd have looked into it immediately, but it mostly worked nonetheless. I'd stay here again if I ever needed to. Highly recommend!

Wasn't expecting much when I checked in. Was tired and hungry. I was really pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the rooms were. The family at front desk was friendly and quick to get me a key. And the rates were also friendly to my wallet.......Doing business in the area, I will stay here again.....

What an amazing and pleasant surprise this little inn in Port Arthur was. We travel the nation as a Motorcoach company, and came here due to Hurricane Laura relief work. The hotel has been recently renewed. New beds, immaculate rooms with incredible beds, and a shower you will not forget in years. It’s a family owned a operated hotel and they are friendly, accommodating and super helpful. I truly recommend the Relax Inn to anyone wether you are staying a night or 10. Thank you for a great stay

Rooms were clean and nice. Easy parking right next to the room. Nice refrigerator and TV with several stations. would have been 5 stars, but needed a coffee machine.
