My family and I visited from Australia on a roadtrip to New Orleans and we’re so glad we stopped by. Rebecca gave us a quick tour and history lesson that was incredibly informative and then recommended a few spots and walks to check out since we were arriving later in the day. The Cattail Marsh boardwalk is lovely around sunset. Can’t recommend this park enough if you’re looking for something to do in Beaumont
Nov 4, 2025 · Google Review10/5 stars! It was awesome! Every time we go to the nature center it's amazing! She still has Christmas games & crafts so the boys got to make a snowflake, nature journal, match the birds game. We all had a blast!
Jan 7, 2025 · Google ReviewGreat place to stop, especially if you’re staying or pass through the area often. Very clean and well maintained. Mrs. Rebecca is so sweet and very helpful. She got us on some new great local restaurants, some upcoming events, and murals left over from a past event. THANK YOU!
Jul 22, 2025 · Google ReviewI had a pleasant and informative visit at the Terrell Park Nature Center. So much historical information I gathered from the lovely Rebecca Woodland. She gave a fantastic tour inside and outside the Nature Center museum. It is a beautiful historical place. A wonderful place to take photographs and learn about the history of Tyrrell Park. There are a lot of interesting books, portraits, t-shirts, amongst other things for souvenirs in the souvenir shop. Go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I love it. Thank you Rebecca.
Mar 13, 2023 · Google ReviewCame by here to play at playground, whoch was great but the nature/visitor center was actually our highlight! Ms. Rebecca had several arts and crafts for my 3 and 5yo, she read them a book about birds and afterwards showed us some nests and eggs. She was so kind and informative. My kiddos and I loved it! Definitely a cool, educational stop that we'll swing back by if in the area.
